The Holy Trinity Restoration Committee is working thoroughly to raise funds to restore this unique historic monument. We hired a prominent firm, which specializes in historic preservation, Kise Straw and Kolodner, to produce the Condition Assessment of the building, which will be finalized soon. We also received the Grant Application from Partners for Sacred Places for a Philadelphia Regional Fund for Sacred Places grant. The first goal will cover a three-year period to match their grant, if awarded. We started already organizing our funding capacities and identifying other resourceful ways to obtaining the needed funds.

Well aware of the importance of the church in regard to the architectural significance, our vision of the restoration is to offer the history and architecture of this church for the generations to come. Also, the revival of Holy Trinity includes the expansion of the existing programs to reach out to the community, which already serve more non-members than members. We have already opened our doors as a place to experience the arts, and we want our church to be a home for our thriving arts community, to the benefit of the neighborhood.

We understand to look outside of our own members of the congregation to the larger community. Therefore, we hope that there are people interested to help this project, based on the common belief that the church building is an essential part of the history of American architecture. This building is also a physical evidence of the pluralism that defines America’s unique character.
